Motor District MarCom Mgr (Part Time)
This part-time role leads all marketing, communications, and community engagement for Motor District — driving awareness, event participation, and brand growth across digital and in-person platforms. Works weekly with Motor District management and the Owners Association to plan, promote, and execute initiatives that strengthen the community and enhance the ownership experience. Manages all social media channels, paid digital advertising, and a consistent schedule of three weekly email campaigns to drive engagement among owners, enthusiasts, and prospects.
Creates, plans, and executes the annual event schedule, integrating outside organizations and car clubs into road rallies, car shows, and owner gatherings. Develops partnerships with local businesses, sponsors, and community groups to expand reach and attract organizations interested in hosting fundraisers and private events at Motor District. Coordinates with photographers and videographers to capture high-quality promotional content that highlights the campus, owners, and events.
Oversees website content management — ensuring timely updates, accurate event listings, and consistent messaging across all pages. Analyzes campaign data, web traffic, and event performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize marketing impact. Evaluates local and regional print media for potential advertising placements. Ensures all communications align with Motor District’s brand identity — a destination where enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and collectors connect through craftsmanship, community, and cars.
Qualifications
Automotive Enthusiast with Marketing Expertise
Genuine passion for cars, car culture, and the enthusiast community, with demonstrated experience in digital marketing, event promotion, or brand storytelling in the automotive or lifestyle space.Strategic and Data-Driven Thinker
Skilled in using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, email metrics, etc.) to interpret performance data, identify trends, and make informed decisions that improve engagement and ROI.Creative Content Producer
Strong ability to generate compelling visual and written content for social media, email, and print — collaborating with photographers, videographers, and designers to bring ideas to life.Event Planning and Partnership Builder
